I specialize in family photography, which includes family sessions, maternity sessions, newborn sessions, baby and children’s sessions, teens, tweens, and high school senior sessions. I also offer portraits for couples, engagements, bridal sessions, individual portraits, and business portraits. I also have experience with commercial photography including fashion, food, and product photography. I offer packages for small business for everything to get your business and product looking professional and ready for your website and marketing.
I am a professional photographer. Let me explain what that means to me. I create works of art in portraits that are meant to proudly grace the walls of your home and your family’s home for generations to come and I handle your portraits from start to finish with care.
Portrait sessions are typically 1-2 hours long, but I don’t work by my clock, because you can’t hope to create art in a set time frame. I know when we’ve got the magic captured and you will too. If children get cranky, we take a break. If baby needs a cuddle and a nurse, relax, we make sure they get what they need. Sometimes we just need to grab a cup of coffee on location and regroup between outfit changes. I don’t book more than one session a day, so that my time and focus is always devoted to you during your session.
I capture, develop, retouch, and creatively edit your portraits myself. Your portrait gallery will be retouched and will be ready for viewing and ordering within 2 weeks of your session. Most sessions can expect around 50 portraits to order from. I offer online proofing or in-person consultations for ordering. I offer a few of my most popular portrait printing options online for friends and family to order too. I want your investment to be what you really want, so I primarily do in-person proofing and ordering after your session. I want you to love your portraits and value what you get. I mean it, really. I got into photography because creating works of art of your most precious ones is a passionate process. When creating portraits, I laugh, I cry, and I really get it. As the artist, I treasure your portraits. I want you to have that beautiful portrait hanging proudly on your wall, or with others in a photo album prominently displayed on your coffee table, and in archival quality so that it lasts beyond our lifetimes.
